It’s time for him to leave his employee job and start a freelance career, so he can increase his income and spend more time with his wife and kids. Dads today want to be more involved in their family’s life at home than any previous generation and technology has made that possible.
I’m Chad Gravallese, your host, and I am a full-time Husband and Dad first, part-time entrepreneur, a work-from-home enthusiast, and self-employment advocate. You’ll hear from me and many other freelancing dads and self-employed husband/wife teams.
A home ought to be a place where everyone’s needs are met, talents are nourished, skills developed, minds educated, self-concepts strengthened, and where children can be taught how to make a positive difference in the world outside the home.
Achieving this is difficult enough as it is, but when one or both parents are away from home working 40+ hours per week, it’s just a pipe dream.
Changing this world for the better starts within each home, beginning with the individual, then the family, then the local community, then your country and society, then the rest of the world, not the other way around.
For any society to thrive, a strong family unit must be at the core of its structure and dad being at home, earning more and working less is what makes this a reality.
